Our featured speaker will be Kobra Eghtedary, PhD.  Dr. Eghtedary is the Director of the State Health Improvement Office at the S.C. Department of Public Health.  Her department leads the coalition of partners that drive the State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP).  The SHIP provides a vision for continuous health improvement. It outlines priority areas and includes strategies to improve the health of all people in South Carolina. It is a tool for health care professionals, government agencies, community-based organizations, advocates, academicians, policy makers, and other stakeholders to use to catalyze action that will leverage resources and focus work towards measurable improvement.  Dr. Eghtedary will give us an update on the current status of the SHIP and a preview of its projects on the horizon.

The Annual Health Care Conference will take place December 4 - December 6, 2024 at the beautiful Sanctuary at Kiawah Island, SC. We are excited to offer a variety of networking opportunities and educational programs for our members and sponsors.

4.   The Room Block at The Sanctuary for General Registrants is nearly full.  Villas are available, and we are starting a waiting list for hotel rooms.  If you are registered for the conference and would like to be put on the hotel room waiting list, please contact Anne Spencer Muncy at annespencer@craftsc.com.

Additional Conference Activities 

New this year there will be both an Explore the Shore 5K fun run and Rise & Flow Yoga! Both activities cost $30 per person. The fun run includes a t-shirt and yoga include as a water bottle. 

Rise and Flow Yoga will be a "Christian based" yoga class led by Jennifer Golwyn of Praise Moves.  Yoga will take place the morning of Thursday, December 5.

The Explore the Shore 5K Fun Run will take place on the beach the morning of Friday, December 6.
